While the first version of dbSQWare supported 4 database engines, today the software manages 13.
Over time, to meet user and market needs, these engines have been progressively integrated into the software.
The latest, released with version 2026, is Informix.
dbSQWare now supports:
✅ 10 RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems)
and
✅ 3 NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, and Adabas)
with engine versions spanning over 30 years for some DBMSs (since Oracle 7 or SQL Server 6.5, for example).
Despite the diversity of these database engines and their heterogeneity, dbSQWare enables a common approach through centralized and consistent operation, simplifying the daily tasks of IT production staff.
